Thanks for using our Auction. Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks and let you know what we are working on for release in the near future. Some of these changes may come as early as this week, and some will be rolled in the next couple of weeks. We plan on implimenting changes once per week late at night when the Auction is closed, so, it won't interrupt business.
  1. Adding a "Save Login" function to the home page so you don't have to re-type your email address everytime.
  2. Creating a distance look up table that will allow us to put the distance column back in with out causing any performance issues.
  3. We are removing the "Reserve" price column as many users have provided feedback about knowing the sellers price. -Users will be able to see "Their" reserve price in My Auctions, My Inventory, and the details page of vehicles they own
  4. The flash intro will be changed also in the near future to tone it down a bit, but the controls will stay giving users options.

Mark your calendar for our first charity golf outing on October 6, 2008 @ Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton! More will be made available on this event in the next few days as we are building out a seperate website for it.

Congratulations to Bret Greer from Adrian Dodge, he was the first one to correcly answer our www.KACarTimes.com trivia question and won the iTouch valued at $250.00! The 1958 Belvedire was used in the movie "Christine", next month we will move locations for our characters and have more prizes.

Remember, we are seeing a lot of activities on the cars that are priced right. Professional car guys will put the car on the money. Ask Mike Peets from Snethkamp Chrysler who sold FOUR cars in two days! Great job Mike!

Until next time... Your friends at KissAutoAuction.com.

Thanks for using our Auction. It was a great day here at KISS to see all the activity on the site, watching bids, lot offers, and our patent pending reverse auction kick into action!

Kiss Auction will keep two days worth of messages in this area to start, but, in the next few weeks as users get more comfortable with our site, we will begin to taper off messaging, and using it for important “global” user messages. We will plan on adding a “Tips and Tricks”, along with success stories in the HELP area.

Some of our dealers are calling with great things to say…

Darrin Lee from Holiday Chevrolet said: “You guys have it right, it is easy to use and I was surprised on how many cars were in (The Auction) and how easy it was to make bids. Now its time put them on the Money!”

Mike Peets from Snethkamp Chrysler Jeep said: “KA has really got something here and I really like the 1 to 1 negotiations that I can get into using the reverse auction, which should really help bring some deals together.”

Darrin is right! Our first day showed that if the money is right the car gets a ton of activity! Remember the guy on the other side of the computer is the same guy next to you at the Block 

More fun stuff for our users, check out the first KACar Times Comic, it pokes a little fun at us, and a little car humor never hurt… We plan on doing this strip monthly (maybe even weekly) and moving it around the state representing different areas, different dealers, and different funny car things.

Check it out at www.kacartimes.com

In September we will be rolling out our Kiss Girls site which will be a lot of fun too!

Finally, just a reminder the “Roll It Price” is the price in which you can buy that vehicle right now! Plus the Auction is OPEN FOR BUSINESS TOMORROW!

Until next time, your friends at KissAutoAuction.com.

A note on the “Reverse Auction”

This innovative solution is designed to help bring together buyers and sellers who are close to making a deal. From the Lot you can “make an offer” at any time the Auction is open or during the “Reverse Auction” session. When “The Auction” closes and you are the highest bidder and your bid is greater than the “Sellers” reserve you should see a Trophy and an “Alert” that you have won the vehicle. If you are the highest bidder, but the bid is not greater than the “Reserve” then the “Reverse Auction” begins. System “Alerts” and emails will be sent to indicate “Actions” that you can take. Actions include “Accept” or “Decline”. If you “Accept” the offer the vehicle is “Sold” if you elect to “Decline” the offer, you will be prompted to “Decline” the offer again, ending the opportunity or “Decline with Counter” which will send your “Counter Offer”. This process will continue until a buyer or seller either “Accepts” the offer or “Declines” the offer with out providing a counter.
